Ascension is a competitive, turn-based tabletop strategy game. Players must race to get their lost souls to the top of the ziggurat. Every turn, players may interfere with one another by placing totems that ward against lost spirits, preventing their passage, or by rotating a layer of the shifting ziggurat, changing the position of the pieces.
Balancing, aesthetic and mechanics were the design goals of this project.
